Occupational health and safety
Occupational safety and health (OSH), also commonly referred to as occupational health and safety (OHS), occupational health, or workplace health and safety (WHS), is a multidisciplinary field concerned with the safety, health, and welfare of people at work.
At Fingres, the first priority is the safety and health of our employees and other people who may be affected by our activities. It is an integral part of our decision-making process and enterprise culture. Recognizing that all operational and occupational situations involve some level of risk, through our management processes, we identify material hazards and assess the risks to minimize workplace related injuries and harm to health. We also promote this policy in joint ventures as well as to our global operations, business partners and global suppliers
To achieve these objectives, Fingres:
1. Provide safe and healthy working conditions and adequate resources.
2. Make sure all our employees are suitably trained and protected for their health and safety
3. Consider OSH in the design, planning and conduct of all business activities.
4. Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety and take suitable actions to protect their safety and health.
5. Maintain OSH standards that meet or exceed legal requirements and our customers’ expectations.
6. Continuously improve OSH management system practices to match changes in international legislation requirements, industry best practice, scientific knowledge and technology, community and employee expectations.
