The Supply from China during Chinese New Year and Beijing 2022 Olympic Games

The Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) will be 1st Feb 2022, official holiday occurring 31st Jan - 6th Feb 2022. As the history and the traditional activities, most of the factories and logistics will be closed 21st Jan - 10th Feb. The total Chinese New Year Season will be 17th Jan-25th Feb 2022. The supply chain during the Chinese New Year Season will face big challenges as usual. But 2022 will be more difficult because of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games occurring 4th - 20th Feb 2022.

The Olympic games will be occurring in three cities, Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. According to un-official news and the histories, to ensure the environments clean and healthy for the players and visitors, some cities who have heavy polluted industries around the competition zones will take pollution control policies, including but not limited Tangshan, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Zhangjiakou, Chengde, Jinan, Weihai, Weifang, Taiyuan, Datong, Changzhi, Luoyang, Zhengzhou etc. where are the main supply origins for the energy and chemicals which are heavy polluted industries, from 1st Jan – 8th March 2022.

The cities in oval where the Olympic Winter Games 2022 will be occurred:
The cities in rectangle will be affected during the games occurring, including but not limited to Tangshan, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Zhangjiakou, Chengde, Jinan, Weihai, Weifang, Taiyuan, Datong, Changzhi, Luoyang, Zhengzhou etc.

We expect the supply chain will be recovered step by step from March 2022.
